Pre-grading is an evaluation of your cards’ condition before they’re submitted for grading. We look for the most common issues that impact grades (centering, corners, edges, and surface) so you can decide what is worth sending.

Unfortunately we cannot. Grading decisions are made by the grading company (PSA/BGS/CGC) and results can vary. Our goal is to give you the most informed, collector-focused guidance possible and help you submit confidently.

It depends on your goal. PSA is the most common for resale liquidity, BGS is often chosen for premium/luxury slab preference, and CGC can be a great option depending on category and turnaround. If you tell us what you’re grading and why, we’ll point you toward the best fit. Also, if it is for your personal do what you love!

We primarily work with trading cards (sports and TCG). If you have something unusual (oversized, packs/boxes, non-cards, etc.), send a message first and we’ll confirm.

If your service requires physical handling then yes, cards are shipped to us using protective packaging guidelines. If you’re doing a DIY submission, we can also provide shipping guidance without you sending cards to us. We have a post office box set up for your submission, this is out best management practice to ensure your cards are safe until we are ready to start our pre-grading review.

Shipping and insurance to us and from us is up to you. Once your shipment is received by us we take full responsibility until we ship it back to you.

Our goal is 72hrs, however this can be affected by volume.

Yes, however we do not alter cards in any way. Our goal is to remove any impurities from the card. Once the card leaves to get graded it is going to look the best that it can.

Yes, this is one of the biggest benefits of pre-grading. We’ll help you identify which cards are worth grading based on condition, your goals (PC vs resale), and your budget. We will even advise if your card has an outside chance of a black label.
